Description

The Parliament of the Republic of Poland recognized the year 2021 as the Year of Krzysztof Kamil Baczyński, the poet of the Warsaw Uprising. On this occasion, London-based Literary Waves Publishing decided to publish a unique book. We received the materials from archivists from Poland. They lay on shelves for many years.

The volume of works by Krzysztof Baczyński contains extraordinary documents. We used, among others, the first underground edition of the Poet’s works, published during the war in 1941 in Warsaw, on a spirit duplicator. Thanks to the courtesy of Barbara Osuchowska, we also received a manuscript of the poet’s works, which was prepared by Jarosław Iwaszkiewicz. It contains known poems and its excerpts. We
